How it works

Getting started

1

Book a free call

Tell us about your company, your self-employment or your rental property, and what you need from an accountant. We will tell you plainly what you do and do not need.

2

Receive a fixed-fee proposal

We set out in writing the work we will do and the fixed monthly fee before anything starts, so you know from the outset what you are paying.

3

Ongoing support

We set up your software, arrange the HMRC authorisations and handle the handover from your current accountant. From then on we keep your filings ahead of deadline and advise you as matters arise.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you have an office in Liverpool?
No. Our office is at 61 Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, on the Wirral side of the Mersey. We work digitally, so clients in Liverpool receive the same service as clients anywhere else in the UK.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, by arrangement at our office. We are a minute's walk from Hamilton Square station, which is one stop from James Street in the city centre (about three minutes on the Merseyrail Wirral line), and there is parking outside the office. If it suits you better, we can deal with most matters by phone and email.
Do you work with landlords who own property in Liverpool?
Yes. We prepare property income figures and Self Assessment returns, and set up Making Tax Digital for Income Tax where it applies. It has applied since 6 April 2026 if your qualifying income (self-employment and property income before expenses) was over £50,000 in 2024/25, and it applies from 6 April 2027 if that income was over £30,000 in 2025/26. For jointly owned property, only your share counts. We also advise on whether holding property through a limited company makes sense for you.
Do you act for contractors?
Yes. If you contract through your own limited company, we prepare its accounts and corporation tax return, run payroll and plan how you take income as salary and dividends. If you work as a sole trader, we handle your Self Assessment and, where it applies, Making Tax Digital.
How do your fees work?
We agree a fixed monthly fee before we start, based on the work you need, so you know in advance what you will pay and there are no surprises. The first call is free.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. We contact your current accountant for professional clearance, arrange the HMRC authorisations and take over your records and deadlines, so you do not have to manage the handover yourself.
